Had a good lunch with mom here @ Green Tomato Grill. Great chicken & dumplings. Mom had meat loaf and sweet potato she said it was really good.
Excellent, excellent, excellent place! Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Definitely lives up to the hype and then some. We've been craving MORE of their fried green tomatoes since we visited! Their version of the chicken cordon bleu is to die for and I can easily say the same about the chicken fried chicken. I also enjoyed the fried okra and mac & cheese. I suppose the only small complaint came from my mom, who is next to impossible to please. She had green beans and complained that they still had the strings attached. Neither of my parents appreciated the fried corn on the cob, either, but that was partially their fault for misunderstanding what they were getting. It is literally a small ear of corn... fried. Overall, my fiance and I were well pleased with this place and we look forward to stopping in again as soon as possible!
I wish I would have taken my phone in just to take pictures of our meals! This was, BY FAR, the best food I have had in a LONG time! If you are thinking about eating here, DO NOT HESITATE! You will not be disappointed! Everything is made fresh and you can really tell it!! Three adults and one child eating and no one put extra salt or pepper on anything. Everything was seasoned to perfection!!

This place is amazing!!! We had a celebration here with about 30 people... the staff was amazing! They were super friendly and helpful, and the food was superb. Portion sizes were huge too. We could not have picked a better place to have a party!!! Thanks Green Tomato Grill!
